The Jefferson County Sportsmen's Club is now affiliated with the CMP - Civilian Marksmen Program. If you are interested in buying an M1 Garand or Carbine from the CMP one must belong to an affiliated club. Last I heard the CMP was out of guns, but was getting more. I will be at Camp Perry next week shooting the Garand Match so I will check it out.

They are out of Garands for now but expect more soon. They have tons of carbines but they sell faster than they can inspect them and ship them out. I bought a Garand 6 months ago and was pleased with what I recieved. The next batch of carbines will available the first of September. I'll add one of those to my collection when available. good to hear the club is now affiliated. If we could just get a rifle range set up there.
