I was thinking about getting a J-Point reflex sight for my 10mm. Would make deer hunting a lot more practical than open sights. Any one who has done this, or any reflex on a pistol for that matter, let me know what you think.

For a hunting pistol sounds like a great idea.

Go for it, I'm doing the hog/deer deal with a "melted" Leupold Deltapoint (7.5 moa triangle) on a Lone Wolf LS (6") and KKM combo. So far it has been sweet with Underwoods 135, 155 and 185 GD's.

I really like having iron sights to co-index with the red dot. The reflex sight makes a good charging handle too; easy to rack the slide even with one hand.

I like the looks of the back up sight in the rear of the rmr. I almost went that way till I realized something. Having them in the back blocks some of the screen. That is why I had mine done with the back up in front of the rmr as bowie suggested.

Forum member Gator378 has a JPointed G20 that he let me shoot when we met at the range one morning ... it was SUPER COOL!

Ctious, make sure you post pics and range report of your new acquisition asap when you get it!
