Heya guys! I'd like to use my new Gen 4 G19 for my CC test, but before I get to that point, I need some good hardware. So, I'll defer to ya'lls more experienced opinions on what would be a good holster/belt combo to go with.

I'd like to go with an IWB holster, but it's got to be capable of dealing with the fact that my sights on there are like twice as high as the stock sights. Also, while I'm not a huge dude (6'2", about 220), I tend to sweat a lot when it gets hot. So I'm not sure if leather is the best choice there, especially living here in KS in the summers.

What would be a good belt to go with?

Sadly, only pic I have with the Glock in it right now; I'll have it back out on the range in a couple days to put another couple hundred rounds through it (as well as the mini) before I call it GTG for the CC class.

So... discreet, comfortable, and sweat-proof IWB holster and belt? To accommodate guys who have installed tall sights for use with a suppressor, I mold in a very generous sight channel on my K-25 and Y-12 holsters. As for the belt, a Wilderness Instructor, of your preferred width, with the CSM insert, seems like the perfect choice.

Here is what I use with my 19:

As far as belts... my brother in law is a Marine, and while visiting him on base I picked up a 5-stitch nylon belt from the commissary store. A similar belt available on the internet is called the "Wilderness Tactical Belt," which you can just google to find.

I hope this helps. Have fun!

I use the MTAC as well. I actually just picked up my permit yesterday and did the traditional "Carry Through Walmart" initiation test
The holster worked fantastically and no one was the wiser.
This is paired with a 5-stitch Wilderness Instructor belt. AWESOME belt....although you get weird looks when you go into a bathroom and everyone hears the sound of velcro when you are undoing your belt. hahaha

I carry my compact Glock in a M-TAC holster on a wilderness 5 stitch belt.
It gets plenty hot here and I sweat like a presidium member during a non confidence vote!
My M-TAC still looks and works great as does the belt

I can vouch for these holsters. I learned about them on another forum (from which I since been banned), and bought one. The craftsmanship is top quality.

Horsehide will also take care of the sweating issue.
