    I would kill an untold number of babies for a 906 or 750 Paso or a 907 I.E.

    :drool:

    I saw a Paso the other day with an Italian flag for a seat and an oversized Elephant graphic on the tank. Absolute Beauty.

    Anyone else like these things? I know they are unreliable, have car carbs and rats nest electrical systems, but lord are they lovely.

    I had a blue 750 PASO back in 1991, but nowadays, I ride with the Lions!!!

    You are my hero for having a Paso when I was 11.

    Is that a 2nd gen RX-7 under that car cover?

    My brother in law was interested in a 750 Paso, so we drove to a small town in central Indiana for a look see.
    I got to test ride it. can you imagine, the guy who owned it let both of us take it for a spin.
    It was wicked cold outside-late fall as I recall-
    The Paso was spewing oil, but it was a fun ride.
    I love ducati's, but the Paso is probably my least favorite from a looks standpoint.
    Of course thats kinds like trying to decide which Charlies Angel is the ugliest!

    The Paso happened at the time when fairing was all the rage and so people went to see who could encapsulate their bikes the best. Granted that it looks rather hokey nowadays, but back then it was (in the parlance of today's youths) da shiznit. I lusted after the 851 but couldn't afford it on a GI's salary so I went with a used 750 Paso instead. Back then I didn't know squat about motorcycles and I just wanted something "cool" to pose around with, so I went with the Harley and Ducati routes.

    A good friend bought a very nicely sorted (11.5 to 1 compression, hopped up fuel delivery, Staintune ex, and other internal mods:supergrin:) 907ie a few years ago and I had the opportunity to ride it. I pretty much gave you a chubby just to hear it run, and when you rode it you could feel chest hairs sprouting:supergrin:. When he put it up for sale my wife told me I wasn't allowed to hang out with him till it was gone.:embarassed:

    On that Aprilia, among other things, you really should put crash bungs on them. Woodcraft for the frame (front or back of frame, or even both if you're that nervous) and RhinoMoto for the front and rear axles.

    Later on, you might even possibly consider aftermarket footpegs too. Woodcraft makes some really nice non-adjustables for pretty cheap. The reason being is that if you happen to drop the bike during routine handling and maintenance, the stock, folding pegs can actually cave in and puncture holes into that aluminum twin-spar frame thus totalling the bike (at least that's what the insurance company would claim it out as totalled). Already happened to at least two guys on the AF1 forum.

    And apropos of nothing, if I were to ever get another Duck, it would be equipped with a Desmodue aircooled engine. The exhaust sound and the engine noises emanating from the Desmodue are as sweet as can be.
