Ok, the my girl went looking for a desktop pic for her computer. She picked up a spambot. I am trying to clean it. Right now I have her harddrive out and in my pc scanning. I am not picking it up. I did try to scan it on her PC, no luck removing it.

Her mail program maxed out on the sending of email and thats how she knew it was happening.

Anyone deal with this before, and what was the solution. Making me feel real dumb. I mean worked for Geeksquad at one time. Virus removal was my thing. But, this is kicking my Butt :faint:

I have akways found with spybots/spyware you have to use several removers to make sure it is found and cleaned..

I usually use AVG free virus scan and they also have a free spyware remover and also use SUPER antispayware pro which i believe is free....

those 3 will almost always find something... make sure you update the definitions on all of them

    good luck
