I've never seen this knife in benchmades line-up, and it also has a carson flipper which I don't think Benchmade uses. Seller doesn't know the model number either. What do you guys think?

I've never seen a Benchmade with a opening hole in the blade that wasn't a circle, let alone wedge shaped.

    I'd email Benchmade.

Thanks, I just emailed him also.

Edit: He just emailed me back saying that he would investigate it. So we'll see if he emails me again and tells me if its real or counterfiet.

Many models have an oval hole, but not that weird wedge hole. I say counterfeit. One time I knowingly accepted a counterfeit BM that was made in China. It was obviously not up to BM standards, but the quality was actually very good for a $10 knife. The hinge had no play, but the machining of the blade was not quite up to par, and the blade would not hold an edge for very long. This does not appear to be a BM product.

counterfeit for sure - its not even a good copy, the worst part is these guys are trying to push them off as real BM's. i bought what i thought was a 910 stryker and when i got it it was a fake. the seller showed the real deal, box and all in his auction but when it arrived i was bamboozled. being that i was the buyer of the auction i had access to the sellers contact info including his phone #, i called the number and his grandfather answered. i threatened to report the kid to the authorities for selling counterfeit product and gramps made it right. the kid refunded my money and i never saw his listings again.
