Hello I was just curious if the GSG5 is considered an assault weapon in MA. I was going to purchase one but live in Boston so I want to make sure I obey all the local Laws.

Thank you to anyone that can help.

Check the "list"; also special gun laws apply to you being you live IN Boston.

GSG5s have magazines which extend below the receiver of the gun. There maybe some 5 or 10 shot mags out there that don't.

Just get a 10/22; cheaper and more reliable; or move to NH :tongueout: (I used to be a M******* for 20yrs not moving back anytime soon).

As long as you keep the fixed stock and use 10 round magazines you will be fine.
