No, the cause for all the abortions every year is the democrats are trying to actually give the republicans a chance at winning the election. But the republicans keep going "Hell no, we don't want abortions, we want as many democrats as possible. If they keep breeding, then there will be more and more democrats, and for some reason we think that's a good thing." :animlol:

See, son. Whores aren't bad. Your mama is a whore, and I'm a whoremonger. Otherwise, we would have never met, and you would have never been born. So, see whoring is a very important part of your life, and don't let anybody tell you different.

I joke with my friends, if it wasn’t for easy women I’d still be a virgin. I have no problem with them.

As a Libertarian, I would argue for the legalization of prostiution.

But as someone who has been on the streets working with various Outreaches and shelters, I can say that I've never met a happy hooker!

Yeah, government picking winners and losers in business always makes the losers unhappy.

You might wanna wake up sometime soon. In many states (mine included), you don't work 70 hr+ per week, you don't have a job....

I remember hearing an HIV positive prostitute being interviewed. She was also an IV drug abuser with hepatitis C. She said they she was surprised how much extra someone would pay her to NOT use a condom with her. Of course she probably kept quiet, and kept the cash.

Now, back to your plan. You are a fascist and a statist by the way for interfering in free commerce. Testing her every week? What about the guy that was there an hour before you? Think some of his bodily fluids will still be hanging around while you are hitting that? I don't know what they call that now, but it used to be referred to as "sloppy seconds". Testing the johns? Who is going to do the testing? How fast do you think you are going to get results? What if he has a contact with an infected person (maybe with his wife or mistress) after his test?

Your statist approach is unworkable. Just put on a couple public service announcements that ho's may have diseases and let everyone take their chances.

Promiscuity leads to further spread of STD's. Some are gifts that keep on giving, some cause cancer, some cause disfigurement, some will kill you.

If you remove all morality, and all emotion from the issue of STD's, it's a simple solution. Limit lifetime exposure to other people's bodily fluids.

How much do hookers cost anyway? Wouldn't the cost of testing drive up prices?

They get paid to tell you that. I would guess if a hooker got to pick only johns that were attractive to her, they might be happy. But young and fit good looking guys aren't the average john.

It's not like there is a street pimp running them. They are medically tested and independant contractors who can choose to work in any brothel that wants them. You'd be surprised at how many are educated girls with other options if they choose.

After they stood against Reid last election, he suddenly decided to make an example of them (even though his mother had bee a brothel maid for years) and stirred the bible thumpers trying to deamonize them. I attended a few town hall type events and while I admit that I am put off by the idea and wouldn't be happy if a girl I knew had chosen that as a profession, I also respect their right to live as they choose. It's their body, they own it and I have no business in telling them what to do. Fortunately, most Nevadans also see it that way and Reid gave up.

Oh, the counties like Washoe and Clarke (Reno and Vegas) still have lots of prostitution but those girls aren't tested, go to hotel rooms alone with men increasing their danger, are sometimes run by pimps and don't pay any taxes.

Living with brothels close by is similar to non gun owners living in a state that recently adopted shall issue CCW. The people that were swayed by the folks that think they have the right to infringe on others rights start to see through the cloud of holier than thou BS and realize it for what it is, people making different decisions, tolerance is not approval.

Strangely we Nevadans have an easy way to deal with this, We drive right by. It's none of our business.

You do realize that testing is not prevention, don't you? The test doesn't stop you from getting anything, it tells you when your luck has run out. I have seen STD's transmitted even when the guy was wearing condoms. Quite a few times due to breakage, and twice right at the base of the guys "little soldier" where the condom ends and skin begins, HSV. So if you are heading in that direction, I'd consider bathing any part that touched a hooker in flame for about 30 seconds.

It is none of my business whether it is legal or not. Never participated in that business, and probably never will. I see those poor gals as human growth media. A lot of people get stuck in professions that cause heartache. I'd hope my daughters chose a different path.

Oh well, to each their own.

Did you realize that medical tests usually don't come back right away, and there have been customers between that test and you who might be infected with something?

Medical tests or no, its still caveat emptor.

I've never met a happy fast food worker who was paid hourly.

Go figure. Some jobs don't lead to personal wealth, fulfillment, and happiness. If every job like that was outlawed, who would be left to pay taxes and support all the ex-hookers on welfare?

You do realize that in AMERICA one should be free enough to assess risks and rewards for themselves.

Base jumping? Go ahead and knock yourself out.

Driving without a seat belt? Great, pay more insurance.

Driving motorcycles? Awesome! I might need a kidney, heart, lung or liver transplant some day, we need more donors.

Seeing a hooker that was tested clean for STDs on her monthly required checkup? Hey, you can do the math... 8 clients per day, 12 days since her last check up... it adds up to some risk, but less than if she never gets tested.
