Is it just me, or is this an AR10?

Took this picture in Mexico last week. Didn't think anything of it at first, but then upon further examination, it appeared to be an AR10 or some variant like that. I didn't think these guys carried AR10's. Sorry, the pic may not be very clear, I already zoomed in and cropped it.

Took some more pictures of them as well. Saw a lot of M4's, FNC's, and G3's. Below is a G3.

This is my little bro who asked the guy if he could take a picture with him. He has an older M4 with carbine handguards, A2 upper, and two 30 round mags taped together.

You can see another M4 and a G3 here as well...

Wish I could have gotten more pictures.

Yeah a G3 or one of the H&K variants for sure.

The top picture is some kind of AR-10 or knock-off. The second is obviously a G3 (or knock-off).

You two are definitely not seeing the rifle in the first picture. The second one is certainly a G3. The first is an AR variant of some kind, without question.

I must have missed it on my iphone. I see what you're talking about now. It does look like an AR10. I was wondering why you thought the G3 looked like one lol.

I can't see the first pic good enough to tell what it is.

    Sure, it's an AR-10.

They have mad crazy HKs (including a G-36 thing), AR-types, Galil ACE... even AKs. Every type of weapon imaginable is fielded by the Mexican Government. It's exactly like Iraq.

Mazatlan. I saw no severed heads.

Not that I wasn't very aware of my surroundings, but popular tourist spots in Mexico aren't the highest places of crime. If tourists were being slaughtered along the Mexican Riviera, it would kill what they have of a legit economy pretty fast.

I saw large groups of Federales like this all over.
