Slings can vary in price pretty widely... Is a $40 sling really any better than a $12 sling?

Just trying to figure if it's worth paying premiums for nylon stuff like this?

    Thoughts?

Depends, midwayusa has their brand one point sling on sale for $14. I can vouch that it is just as good as any sling that costs more.

    Except it's still a single-point sling... :whistling:

OP, it depends on what you're doing, and what kind of weapon you're doing it with. If you just want a basic sling to sling a rifle or shotgun over your shoulder every now and then, a cheap padded sling will do fine. On a hard-use, training, duty or HD weapon, though, spending the extra money for quality is well worth it.
