I've got pathetic dsl for the home and the 4G on my iPhone 5 just blows it away.

I average 20mbps on my cable internet, thought it was great until I got my IPhone 5, always over 30MBPS down and 3 times as fast as cable on the up side while on the LTE network and its everywhere I go in my area. I'm loving it!.

Yep, and I've got 20 meg internet. Not by a lot, but it's still faster.

I have the bare minimum my isp offers, but I doubt that 4g is any faster:

Definitely faster than my cable, I'm paying for "12Mb" but only average 6-10.

Yes it is. Verizon 4G has been very good to me these last 18-19 months.

Just got the Verizon 4G hot spot today at Costco. $9.99 plus $20/mo, I added another 2 gig so it will be $30 /mo.

So far it's doing great! And we can take it on the go.

I just got a 4G phone from Verizon a couple weeks ago. It really doesn't seem any faster than my old 3G phone did.

My home service (verizon fios) is much faster.

    I don't have a 4G phone yet, but I don't have 4G service here anyway.

I'm working for a cellular provider right now, and their 4G service is indeed faster than my home connection.

My wifi runs at about 20mps. The not "true 4g" 4g connection on my iPhone 4S is about 6mps.

The government clearly needs to redistribute some of your bandwidths to those of us who are less fortunate.

Are you sure you have 4G coverage? It should be a lot faster.

My home internet is 30 down, 3 up pretty consistent.

At home, my 4G is about 8 to 10 down and 3 to 6 up. Fastest I've seen yet was 26 down and 17 up. That was at work.

My in-laws in rural Japan have 100 Mb/s down and use it to check email and talk on Skype with their grandchildren. They've had that speed for years. And my ISP calls their 15 Mb/s snail's pace micropipe "high speed internet." :crying:

Faster than what I pay for? Yes. I pay for 20Mbps but 50Mbps is available but for more than what I want to spend at $85/month.

Funny things about LTE to me is they are trying their hardest to move everyone to tiered plans. So now you have this crazy fast connection that will cost you a fortune to use it for anything that will actually take advantage of the speed. I'm holding onto my unlimited Verizon account until they pry it away from me.
