The GS Scout seems the perfect size/weight for me. I use it for hunting and longer range shooting. I like the size, weight, the mauser style action and safety, and the 5 round mags will make it hnting legal. adjustable spacers cool since i take a loner lop than many people. I like irons since if my scope had an issue i could still hunt that day. Im wondering though, if the rear sight is fast install or return to zero? I think the scout scope setup is gimmicky (please no debate) and much prefer a standard setup. Was wondering if when you take the scope off the base if you can quickly (in the field) just put the iron on and be ready to shoot.
  2. I have not yet tested this with mine. I'm thinking it will work though.
