Inheriting Class III Weapon

  1. What's the process when a Class III weapon is part of an inheritance? Can it be transferred?

    The executor would apply for an ATF Form 5, which is a no-tax NFA transfer, on behalf of the inheritor, provided they are legally able to possess the items.
