    WTF this thing showed up in 03 and isnt being detected?

    My AV is updated


    This was supposed to be in their defs but it's neither detected or stopped this from happening.

    I'm at a loss.... Any clues?

    The only reason I know is because I looked in my task manager and saw some bull**** running that wasnt supposed to

    Have you used any files off of CD/DVD or a memory stick? If so were the files old? Either way it seems your AV should have alerted you to the presence of the file before allowing it to infect... I don't know, these are just my guesses. Maybe hiding in a restore point? :dunno:

    I second that! Resource hog that doesnt catch anything. AVG has never done me wrong.

    AVG, Avira, Avast, and others...All great free scanners.

    i dumped nortons off my daughters laptop because if missed AntivirusPro2009.
    Avg is becoming my favorite...:cool:

    That's not necessarily a fair test. That piece of crapware changes so much all anti-virus companies are having trouble keeping up with it. But norton is still crap.
