    Have you used any files off of CD/DVD or a memory stick? If so were the files old? Either way it seems your AV should have alerted you to the presence of the file before allowing it to infect... I don't know, these are just my guesses. Maybe hiding in a restore point? :dunno:

    AVG, Avira, Avast, and others...All great free scanners.

    i dumped nortons off my daughters laptop because if missed AntivirusPro2009.
    Avg is becoming my favorite...:cool:

    That's not necessarily a fair test. That piece of crapware changes so much all anti-virus companies are having trouble keeping up with it. But norton is still crap.
