Does a directory exist with the name and location of all the Indiana dealers, gunsmiths, ranges (with membership or access requirements) and manufacturers. Is it realistic to create a directory? I sent a pistol out of state for tuning and found a local gunsmith is a expert. It would seem we need to support Indiana businesses in order to keep our resources and our firearm hobbie alive.

Grayhawk, that is an excellent idea.

However it would be a lot of work for someone to compile all the info. (I know I dont have the time for it.)

Also, what kind of gun did you need work on, that you found a local "expert". I am just curious.

I know of a blogger here in central IN that keeps a page of gun shops, shotting ranges and some other useful shooting info in the area. He will add to his list if you send him the info, I know because I sent a few to him... and he added them. The page is "Pointman"
    http://www.pointmanspage.com/

Check it out. He also posts good burbs on a variety of topics.
