    Pretty good article overall, and it's fair (a bit unusual for indychannel).

    Only thing I don't like about the article is they talk about "taking the training course" in conjunction with getting a license to carry, and it almost makes it seem like the training is required, when it is not.

    Other than that though, good article.
     
  2. Overall, a good article. The chicks that know what's going on, know the class isn't required. The other FNCs, probably couldn't hurt to take a class.

    Had to laugh at the instructor's comment about guys having the "John Wayne chromosome." When we used to shoot IDPA matches indoors at a range that had a lot of concealed carry classes, invariably we'd get a few new guys every match that had, what I called the "Davy Crockett syndrome." They were convinced that being Americans by birth, they were born shooters. Then, at the first gun stoppage or a completely missed target, had that "pig looking at a Rolex" expression...:rofl:
