I started the long process of paramedic class in August of '06 with Anatomy & Physiology. I finished that and I started the actual Paramedic class in March of '07. It was a long a ten months with class three days a week for eight hours a day and 420 clinical hours. I graduated on December the 13th and did my practical testing on Dec. 19th. I passed every station the first time through. That felt good. Not because I passed them all on the first shot, but because half the process was over with. I took my written computer based test this morning. The test shut off at 80 questions. I had no clue it was about to shut off, it just did. I didn't know what to think. I had heard it can shut off early depending on how well you do. If it shuts off early you either did really good or really bad. I checked my results at 15:55 and with baited breath I watched the page load. I passed. Eighteen months, eighteen long months, and it's over with. Thank God it's over with!
