What does diesel in the morning smell like?
A truck stop.
Ah, the fond memories of burning s***ers in Vietnam. Mix in the diesel and light it up. Every now and then, add a little more diesel and mix some more. It sure beat filling sandbags if you had the stomach for it. I learned quick to not use my nose for breathing.
My Cavalry Squadron Motorpool... Its a good smell...
Winner, winner, and the taste carried over to your dinner!
Like I stopped for fuel on the way in to work
Money, before it turns green.
Or the start to a great day of fishing
About $1000 bucks, or whatever it costs to fix a leaking fuel tank.
The Brinks Armored trucks in the early mornings when I worked there, Diesel needs to warm up in the freezing northeast cold before they run well, otherwise the fuel is like jello in the tank and the truck just sits there and you wait to go to the FRB until it liquifies. Don't ask me how I know. lol.
Lot lizards' raincoats?
It means my neighbor is making bombs again. HH
I work for a major freight railroad as a mechanic ....smells like $$$ to me.
The smell of deisel in the morning always reminds me of our motorpools in the Army.
