This is the best video that I've found that explains the 1911

He's eloquent, has his facts straight and presents some very compelling arguments.

    He can also shoot some.

    Thanks for posting that video.

I have one 1911 and I consider it my "go to", or reference gun. when and if, I feel I am having a problem with a different weapon, I shoot the 1911 some, and it shows me if I am practicing bad habits, or if I really have a problem of some kind with the other one.

I really like the feel and the comfortable way it shoots. I can't think of not having a 1911 in the arsenal. For me, it is a great shooting pistol because of the weight together with the ergonomics. It has very little and controllable, muzzle flip.

That being said, I carry a .357 Magnum, or a G27 with a 13 round mag. My 1911 is a great gun but I just don't want to beat it up with every day carry.

video was good and the shooter is also. Thanks.
