The XD is on the list to try. My buddy has a XD 9mm tactical and I have an XD .45 Tactical. I assume the grip between the 9 and 45 are different.

    Thanks.

Took my wife to the range today with the following pistols to try out.

    SA XD 5" 9MM
    SA XD 5" .45
    Sig 226 DAK 9MM
    Glock 17
    Glock 35
    Beretta 92 FS INOX
    S&W M&P FS .40 with small grip.

Surprisingly she chose the SA XD in .45. She wants one with a 4" barrel though. Also wants night sights, FDE lower and Black slide.

She liked the 92FS until I showed her the decocker she would have to use making the first shot DA. Didn't care for the M&P trigger. She likes the Glocks just a little big for her hands. I might pick up a G4 17 or 22 at some point and let her try that some.

Time to find the pistol and get her a holster. I like the idea of giving Comp-Tac a call and see what they can do. I am a pretty good customer of theres. Up to 6 holsters from them so far.

Got the pistol and ordered a Comp-Tac Paddle Holster with the "Diva" offset today. Hopefully it will work for her.
