A few days ago I joined the reloading crowd by buying the entry-level RCBS Partner kit ($170 at the local Bass Pro). My bullets won't arrive for a few more days, so I decided to improve the lighting at my new reloading bench.
I took a cheap LED flashlight ($3.99 a pair from Harbor Freight).
Then I went through my pile of trash and found an old charger for a Nokia phone:
Then I butchered the light, took the lamp assembly out and connected it to the charger:
A strip of steel from an old windshield wiper made a good lamp post...
And now my old eyes can perfectly see what I'm doing:
