Good luck in your search. It took me a long time to find one. They are out there, but there's not many.

The Holy Grail. Just not likely. Luck will play a huge (majority) role in whether it happens, I'm afraid...

  5. So what would one expect to pay for one in the box?

    Pics would be very welcome.

Since there are so few in existence price really cannot be set
unless you can find out what the last one sold for.

I would expect a rare pistol like that to bring $1000 min.

Why would you part with one if you had it?

Many I've read about were purchased in a situation where the person didn't know what they had. I remember reading here in years past of someone getting one for around $300, because it was "just a used Glock".....

If someone KNOWS they have such a rare item, I'd say $1000 would be a very reasonable starting point. Besides the 1-of-a-kind Glocks, like Statue of Liberty, Duck's Unlimited, 1millionth, 2 millionth, these Gen1 G19s are THE most rare Glocks. Less than 25 made by the most-generous reports. My rarest commemoratives are the Alaskan 40th Anniv. (100) & Dynamite-Nobel 10th Anniv. (200). And the kicker is that most, if not all, went to a law enforcement agency, so distribution has never taken their rarity into account...

I paid around $900 for mine with shipping and transfer costs.
