First off, I am carrying a Glock 23 Gen 4 (will have a 32 as soon as they release the Gen4!).

Right now when off duty I am carrying in a CompTac MTac and hate to say it but I do not love it....
    1) I am a smaller framed guy (32 in waist 5'6 152)
    2) Just seems I can never find the right spot where it is comfortable.
I have bought bigger pants to easily fit it, I wear a true gun belt (double thick leather with insert) but it always seems to be either digging right into my hip when I sit or if I move it back further it digs at me when in the car. It almost makes me want a left handed holster to carry in SOB....

Solid kydex just really does not interest me as I tend to go Commando and kydex rips at the skin from my experience!

I think you will find SOB infinitely less comfortable when seated. If you can't find a sweet spot with an MTAC or a Crossbreed, it's hard to think you'd find it with something with even less adjustment for the user to make. I move it ever so often, but I'm currently carrying my 19 at about 4:30 position with just a little cant. I've tried most of the big name holsters out there and MTACs are where I have stayed for the last several years.

Try a remora. You can put it wherever you want it.

It's a pretty good alternative holster in my opinion

I sent Remora an Email, I see they offer LE discount so
I will likely give them a try and see.

I have already trimmed the excess leather on the bottom
of my MTac and that solved some pinching, I am going
to keep playing with positions and various cants. Once
I can find my ideal cant I am going to file off the extra clips
as they have pinched me a time or two as well.

I'm not sure a Remora will not dig in more than an MTAC. The MTAC spreads the load around quite a bit. As soft as the Remora is it still concentrates the load against your hip in a smaller area. I have both and I start to "feel" the pressure of the Remora to the point of being bothersome much sooner than the MTAC. Depends on the pants/belts too but generally that's the case.

Any way OWB would work for the way you dress?

You may also be interested in a n8 squared holster. Very comfortable iwb holster and i have tried quite a few. If you dont mind a holster that rides a little high i'd say try one. PM me if you would want to pick up a used one.

6' 3" and 175 lbs. I tried a Comp-Tac MTAC and didn't find it as comfortable as I would have liked. A Crossbreed Supertuck with Moleskin on the back is very comfortable.

If you are looking for all leather it is very hard to beat a Milt Sparks VMII

Milt Sparks VMII - I've owned GALCO, Comp-Tac, Tucker, etc. I have three VMII's for and use nothing else.

I have both the MTAC and the reinforced Remora with the sweat shield. I love the Remora to use with Ohio's new car carry laws. I keep it stuffed between my car seat and console.

I use a Summer Heat from Wild Bills Concealment for my Glock 17/19. It carries it a bit higher, and doesn't dig in.

I had a Crossbreed Supertuck, but never cared for it.

DO NOT screw around with anything else. Order a VMII. They really are the gold standard.

For nearly 25 years, I've had everything from the very expensive holsters by the "best" in the business to inexpensive "unknowns"....my recommendation if you want to stay with IWB....REMORA.

Ordered a Remora today, great people to deal with.
Also contacting a stocking dealer and likely to order a Sparks
VM II depending on if their stock is horse or cow

I use an old Bianchi 4/4L for my G17. Very comfortable.
