Anyone have a good pillow that they really like? Where did you buy it?

I sleep on my side and my pillow sucks. I wake up with my arm asleep and can never get comfortable.

Should I go down or cotton? What would be a good store to check some out?

    Thanks

I like the Sertapedic "Won't Go Flat" It's polyester fill with a foam center that keeps it from squashing too much (hence it's name). I always sleep on my sides. Wal-mart has it for about $9. I've tried various pillows over the last few months, some cheaper, some much more expensive. This one seems the best for me so far. And with Wal-marts return policy you can always take it back.

Costco currently has the ComfortZen PureGel memory foam Pillow that is very nice. Got one for Christmas and really like it.

I have a Tempurpedic and think it is the best thing in the world. I have slept so much better since I bought it about six years ago. I actually have two I liked it so much.

I've used this one for the past 7 months and it's the best pillow I've ever owned. At $49 it's the most expensive too so far.

I would like to try out some of the expensive foam pillows, but I'm cheap. I have a size 8 head and can wear out a cheap foam pillow from Target in a month.

I bought myself a buckwheat pillow off Amazon. I've been sleeping well with it. Heavy though, won't move on you. The buckwheat fill allows me to adjust to a support profile that suits me.

+3 on the buckwheat hull pillows. I've been using them for about 15 years.

I was waking up in the middle of the night with terrible headaches caused by sleeping with my neck in the wrong position. So I tried all the various pillows - down, memory foam, etc. I spent hundreds of $ trying to find something that would stop the headaches.

I finally stumbled across the buckwheat hull pillows and I haven't had a headache since.

And they are WAY cheaper than the memory foam pillows!

+1 for the Tempurpedic pillow. Mine is the King Countour one, not sure the model, it has the low bump and the big bump and it is by far the best thing for my sleep I have ever had. I had sleep apnea pretty severely, lost weight, spent the coin on the good pillow and could not be happier. There are products like it, but none compare to the density and comfort of it, I have tried several.

Yep. Visit your Tempurpedic store and check out their various models. Mine are kinda sorta shaped like a conventional pillow. They're well worth the money.

    I can't get a decent night's sleep at a hotel any more.

I tried the Tempurpedic but I didn't like that your body heat was necessary for the foam to soften to contour to your head. Took much too long in the wintertime when we sleep at 68* and even longer in the summertime with the AC on. Even without this "issue" my ears would seal against the pillow and I would have an earache when I woke up. I chalk this up to the fact that your ears grow as you age - perhaps if you're in your 30's it doesn't happen.

Down pillows are the best. Not cheap but what I like.

Note: all down not a feather/down blend.

Down or feather pillows are my favorite.

Another vote here for buckwheat hull filling. Nothing better for warm weather sleeping, and the most comfortable pillow ever.
