    guys i figured out the secret to front cocking abominations....i mean serrations!

    it has nothing to do with press checks, or being tacticool, they're actually for our own good, they really are.

    you ready? this is big.......

    the guys on the assembly lines put them up front so the advertising guys know where to stop the billboard slide markings!! if it weren't for the invention of the fcs we'd see 1911 with billboard rollmarks wrapped all the way around the front and down the other side!

    man now i can actually appreciate the hideous things and they don't seem so bad. lol

    I always thought they were for use as a flint striker for making emergency camp fires.
