The guy asked what our purchase plans were for the next year in terms of server software. I told him I wasn't planning on buying anymore server software from M$, but was looking at linux instead. He asked why and I told him M$ was too expensive and unstable.

He said that was the first he had heard of that. I said "You're joking, right?"

We talked for a while and finally he said "Yeah, I've heard some great things about linux."

    I don't think he'll call me back.

    NE Oh
M$'s efforts to get all their enterprise s/w on a subscription basis probably didn't affect yer decision either.
