    ow many of you all know it but I recently started working for Intermedia outdoors as a field editor for The Shotgun News. I wrote a few articles, got paid well, and decided that the time was right to upgrade my lens collection.

    I finally broke down and dropped the coin on a Canon 70-200 F2.8L lens last week, and I have bad news to report.

    I am in the process of selling off my non L lens to pay for more L lens. I must feed this addiction.

    Pictures will be up later, but this glass is so clear and so sharp its almost like I have a new camera. I had no idea pictures could be this sharp, bright, and colorful.

    What have I done? :supergrin::supergrin::supergrin:

    What have you done you ask??? Here's what you've done.....................

    ............you will now be broke like the rest of us. I bought my first "L" and bought more very soom after, like 2 weeks after. Amazing the difference in the quality of pics just by changing a lens! Have fun with it!

    i just have a very basic Rebel XT, nothing fancy at all. But compared to the non-L series, this thing makes me think I have a new camera.

    Next up is the 24-70 f2.8L

    17-55/2.8 is not "officially" L glass it is in the same league though as the "L" glass and has IS. Just something to think about if you're like me and really like coffee.

    The 24-105/f4 is really nice for landscape stuff if you do any of that.

    Congrats on the L glass. Once you start using L glass, you do not want to shoot with anything else.

    I have always liked Canon equipment. A2E and a EOS-1N.

    I have read the 85 1.8 is also L quality without the badge. Mine seems to be as sharp as my 70-200 f/4 IS.

    The only reason I got my L is my boss surprised me with a very nice bonus. :hearts:

    I have the 85mm f1.2L. A lot of people like the 1.8 since it has faster focus on it.

    Congrats on the new lens.
    What kind of old lens are you getting rid of?
