So having spent a few weeks torn , not knoWing what to do, what I really wants, and how much I have to spend on both the shotgun and the entire arSenal, I want to build, I did it!!

Went to my local Dicks for some assorted ammo... 9mm for the new
convo barrel, 40 hi cost HD rounds, and several boxes of 22 lr ... Also get some cleaning supplies and a bag for my Remington 597.

Decide to drive 20 mins across the river to
a PA dicks looking for 30 rd mags for the 597 .... First thing I notice
    is WOW
!!! Much much better gun selection ..... And long story short , as I am posting from my iPhone 3gs at a super bowl party ,,,, FORGET that Benelli , I got what I had orig REALLY WANTEd, and was UNAVAIL in NJ, at HALF PRICE
    BETTER, wwooooohOoo!!! Pics to

The 930 is a good shotgun. You should enjoy it.

Welocome to the 930SPX club brother! I got mine last week and still cant stop looking at it. If it werent for the rain soaked weekend and the superbowl...I would have shot mine this weekend. That Choate jumbo sized bolt handle is the best $15 I have ever invested in. The tiny stock one is pretty sharp.

Congratulations on your new shotgun. Give it a good cleaning before going to the range for the first time then enjoy. I’ve been able to shoot everything from slugs to $5.97 a box Dove loads and never had a malfunction. For the price $657.00 out the door I believe my 930 SPX has everything I need and functions as good if not better than the more expensive Auto loading shotguns.

I spent $703 out the door including two boxes of Remington 12 gauge rounds, 25 each Gun Club Target Loads 71/2 and 8 shots (so 50 rounds total Remington Target Loads), 15 rounds Winchester 00 Buck (Just in case -- for breaking in... both breaking my new baby in and in case someone tries to break in ;-) ), a useful but not tact-i-cool soft carry case, and a Hoppe's shotgun cleaning kit... Not so bad I surmise?

BTW let me add, I am SOOOO EXCITED.... THIS is the thing I've wanted since I started reading Glock Talk...tHE LOCAL shops told me I'd never find it in NJ cause it had a pistol grip. So I should really look at the Benelli M2 (Which was more than double the price, regardless of how sweet it is)

They failed to mention it didn't come with a pistol grip, it was just normal, and I could get in PA CLOSER TO WHERE I LIVE THAN THAT SHOP.... beeatches.
