I.D. This Robbery Gun

    local guy gets his jewelry store robbed last week

    this morning, some chummer tries to rob him again

    bullets fly

    owner shot once thru the leg, but he's ok

    robber shot 4 times, quart low, but survives

    used this gun

    what is it?

    WHO used that gun? The business owner or the robber?

    I can't tell from the picture.....could be a pistol that's been seriously ghetto-rigged.

    Hey Doc, Randy needs a bigger gun. He hit the guy four times, and so far, he's still alive. That appears to be a Colt, but I need a different view to tell for sure.

    Are you sure that's it??

    OP's pic shows gun that is totally rounded on top of middle area, while the references show the hex/oct straight sides all-around. Also, the rear sights on the OP's are box shape (straight edges all over) and the reference is rounded edge.

    You guys would know better than me, and there are some similarities. Looks like the grips are slightly different, too, but maybe I've been helping my son too much with those see-the-difference computer games...

    perp took 4 to upper torso

    out of surgery

    getting patched up for the TX pen
