After numerous trades I ended up with an extremely nice G23. For several years I only had a G26, and a G19. I stupidly traded off the 26 for an m&p 9mm full size. I wanted a IPDA gun, but the M&P wasn't that accurate. Ended up panic buying a g17 gen 4, and I love it. Also got the Kahr for xmas.

I was unhappy with the M&P, and traded it for a g27, which I was also unhappy with. Today I traded the g27 for a like new g23...I will see If I can get used to this 40 thing.

I used to have a 23 and a 27. Had a light on the 23 so I had some failure to ejects every several magazines. Without the light, after I changed the recoil spring, extractor and magazine springs it worked no problem. The 27 would occasionally fail to fully eject also, though not as often as the 23 with the light.

Switched to a 21SF and now love shooting the Glock again. .45 is very smooth, much better than that harder recoiling .40.

    Congrats!
I picked up a gen4 G23 last summer and I have had fun shooting it, though even with the new RSA of the Gen4, it still is a bit 'snappy' in the recoil department.

    Have fun!

I picked up a new Gen 3 G23 today myself, goes well with my G22 and Sub 2k in .40. The 23 looks pretty sporty with a 22 round mag.:whistling:

I really wanted to pick up a G23 myself, but the MP40 shot better with less recoil, just was smoother and more accurate for me. Oh well.

In all honesty I probably won't shoot the 23 that often. I'm running out of guns I can "justify", but everyone needs a 40, and 45, right? You know...just in case 9mm is impossible to find.

I wish I could run a dual RSA in this thing...compared to my gen 4 17 this thing feels like a cannon.

Oh well then. Unless someone comes along and offers me a 26, 19, or 17 I guess I'll be holding onto the 23.

I may pick up a Glock 23 and 21 this year, since I bought so many magazines for them.

The Glock 27 is a great handgun and mine is a keeper. I know some feel it is snappy, but I just do not have the same sensitivity others may have. Mine is a Gen3 and it has been 100% reliable, and it easy to conceal and shoot.

I recently bought a Glock 19 Gen4 and it has also been great. I can conceal it almost as well as my Glock 27.

The Glock 23 gives one some more options. If premium ammo is tough to find, having a bigger bullet will help. Also, you can get conversion barrels and fire some other calibers.
