Actually, I'm in deep South Texas, so it should probably be "Hola"! I'm almost completely new to the Glock family. In fact, I just this afternoon picked up my new-to-me LE trade-in Glock 17. Don't know if it's ok to mention the company I got it from, but I'm reasonably pleased with the deal, and more than completely pleased with the condition. Looks like it lived a cushy life in a holster and was rarely fired at all. Definitely has some life left in it. A glock 17 was the first semi-auto pistol I ever fired, so it holds a very special place in my heart. I don't remember what year it was, but it was a very early model. I want to say it was in the late 80's, and everyone in my family was absolutely fascinated by this "plastic" gun our neighbor had bought. Since then I have followed the Glock evolution and reputation for relentless reliability. Couldn't be more thrilled to have one of my own now! I told my wife I could bury my glock and AK in the back yard until spring, dig them up, spray them both down with WD40, and have them both fire like new! About me: Dad, surfer, tinkerer, amateur inventor, medical professional soon to have prescriptive authority. Hopefully that'll keep me alive when SHTF. Ha! Very excited to expand my knowledge base and enjoy the community here! First question: Are those $10 3.5lb trigger connectors worth the $10? Wanna kill these ads? We can help!
