On another forum a gentleman said he was in a Walmart and felt dizzy like he was going to pass out. He had his CCW and was carrying a Glock 19. He wanted to know if he should have given the gun to his wife and for her to put it in her purse even though she doesn't have a CCW. How would the EMT's and LEO handle her now carrying without a permit under the cucumstances?

Well I would guess that concealed means just that. If it's in her purse why would an LEO know about it much less an EMT??

In this scenario, I would let LEOs know so they could hold the gun or whatever they would need to do. While waiting on them, I would let him keep the gun in his posession. If the situation called for it, I would take the gun, remove the magazine and ensure the gun is unloaded, then keep the ammo and the gun separate until LE could take posession of it.
