How will a non-railed 1911 fit into a holster for railed 1911 w/light?

Discussion in '1911 Forums' started by Drjones, Jan 16, 2011.

  1. Hey guys.

My lovely, amazing girlfriend got me a Surefire X300 that I mounted on my Springfield TRP Operator.

I've long wanted a drop-leg holster and might someday get one....like the Safariland 6004....mostly for camping & stuff.

Would another, non-railed 1911 w/o a light fit at all in the Safariland if I got the holster to fit my 1911 with the light mounted on it?

    Thanks

there's going to be a lot of play for the non-railed 1911.... you're best best would be to get a holster fitted for each setup....
