The guidelines here are simple. this forum is a place to post questions or requests for assistance concerning the site's basic functions. If you want to ask about how to do your avatar, or how to modify your sigline, or how to change your user title, this is the place for you. If you need to know how to modify your profile or how to make the email subscription emails stop, post away. you can also post questions here about basic internet netiquette, or where a particular post should be posted. the kind of messages that should be posted here are the kinds of things that other members here could answer for you or help you with. Any question that needs an admin to answer it needs to be posted in the GT Support Forum.

If your post concerns why a thread was closed, or why we don't allow people to curse, this is not the proper forum. If you have a question about your account, if you have a question about this site's policies or why a particular administrative action was taken, if you have a question/comment/complaint about any aspect of the administration of this site, your thread should be posted in the GT Support forum.

Any messages that don't belong here will be moved to the GT Support Forum. Thanks. Eric

The GT knife discussion forum is called "The Cutting Edge", and can be found at this link:

At the top of that forum's main page, it says "This forum is dedicated to all manner of knives and edged weapons. If it has an edge, you can discuss it here." Based on this, you should be okay to discuss any type of knife, as long as it is legal for you to own/possess where you live. If it is NOT legal, then it falls under discussion of illegal items/activities, which is not allowed here on GT.

The knife Classifieds forum should only be used to buy/sell/trade knives, not for general discussion.
