    Ccleaner also does what you can't do automatically in Win98SE,.It cleans your temp files.There is a bug in Win98SE that makes the original Disk Cleanup function not work even when you check the boxes.Ccleaner works great.

    Maybe I'm missing something here. What's wrong with just right clicking on the task bar and selecting properties. You can clear it there.If you're running AdAware, selecting neglidgable items also clears it.

    There is a bug in Win98SE that doesn't allow temp files to be cleared by Disk Cleanup.They can be deleted individually but not all at once.Ccleaner gets rid of them and clears history.
