Just reacquainted myself with my Kimber manual. Must have missed these sage words when reading it before:

I guess I have to revisit my carry condition.

I see nothing wrong with what is written. It's basically telling you to carry cocked and locked, i.e, Condition 1. It is telling you NOT to carry in Condition 0. What's not understandable? :dunno:

Ben Mattlock wrote this !

If a man isgoing to carry and M1911, and I do for my EDC it should be in Condition 1. Cocked and locked and ready to fire. BTW mine is carried this way, and inbetween my wranglers and back, Mex style. (no holster) Yes even the Kimber pro carry II gets the same treatment, all M1911's do.

Tear that page out of your manula and use it to line the bottom of your bird cage ! ;)

    Good shooting

As much as i like to bash Kimber any opportunity i can, nothing is wrong with this statement. People need to read it again that dont understand. Basically there saying dont carry round in the chamber without the safety engaged

Since they never mention the safety, its like a no comment on carrying in condition 1, and saying just don't carry under any circumstances with a round in the chamber.
