How much do I love my dog????

I won't take any amount of money for him.

Starting a couple of years ago, I've paid over $14,500.00 to keep him alive.
    (Chylothorax.)

The Vet Professor at Philadelphia's Vet School/Hospital gave him a 10% chance of survival.
The fabulous doctors at "Dog & Cat Referral Center" (in Bowie, MD) gave him an 85% chance of survival.

How much are you (meaning 'everyone') willing to pay to keep your dog alive?????

No dogs here, but I got a couple of cats I'll let go for way less than a mil. If you can catch them.

If someone offered me a million dollars for Molly, I'd think about it... for maybe a nanosecond! I'd sweep Molly up in my arms... hug her hard... then hand her over and say, "Gimme the money!!!"

Why do we as humans ask ourselves questions like this?

He has been laying right here since 8 this morning, with the exception of eating and relieving himself. I could spray paint a log black and fill up 90% of his day.

That being said, I wouldn't give him up for anything! He may be lazy, useless, and fart too much, but he's part of the family.

ETA- before anyone says anything, we are cleaning the carpets on Friday. One of the drawbacks of a black dog that sheds a lot, and white carpet.....:)

It's hard to put a price on what dogs do for your life, but 1m is a pretty kickass number.

    Still, Parker stays.

A trillion bucks and the promise of eternal life wouldn't pry any of the dogs I've owned away from me. The very idea is disgusting and immoral.

My dog .... really just my child with fur ...... is priceless. I've had to put three dogs down in the last 25 years .... I still miss each one and it still hurts.

The one who is sitting at my feet now is with me 24/7.......
