It's OK. Spicing up a thread is not a bad thing. The problem is when it goes off in a completely different direction, the original request for information can get lost.
I'm trying to decide whether to sell my G17. I probably won't shoot it much anymore, as I like the G19 so much better. But if it's going to become a rarity, then I might keep it on speculation. And please, everyone, don't speculate for me. Anyone can have an opinion about whether USA Glocks will be rare or not, but they're just opinions. I'm looking for direct data - how many people actually have them. In hand. Facts. Maybe I should just call Glock and ask how many they've sold of what model, and what their plans are. Might be more productive.
