Just had my G20sf over about two weeks now, and got about 540 rounds through it so far
About 500 threw each G20 and G29. The 29 has a little more so maybe 600 400 . Not counting the SD ammo that was tested so about another 100 each. The 10mms havent got to hit the range in a couple months.
Over 500 not to sure tho. Also bought it used
I also went to the range yesterday to try out my new 22Lb. Captured recoil spring, I'm suprised it cycled the light loads pretty well. I went through some blazers and some Georgia Arms with no malfunctions.
Only been participating in 10mm sports for about 2 months.
Glock 20 SF ~100rd
S&W 1006 ~200rd
My G29 has about 10,600 rounds through it since April 1, 2011. So far, the only replaced parts have been a factory recoil spring and a broken locking block (around 8,000-9,000 rounds). I could count the number of failures (attributable to the gun) on one hand, maybe one finger. All of my jams have been with aftermarket springs or because of the broken locking block. Other than that, I had a few jams with a certain load that I think was just too hot for an old stock spring (155gr Gold Dot @ 1400fps from G29 barrel). It's been amazing.
My G20LS (LWD G20LS slide and 6.02" barrel on G21SF frame) has about 1,200 rounds through it after about two months. It has been nearly perfect as well. The LWD barrel seems to have been opened up at the factory, and has poor support, but is about to get sent back. Other than that, the only issue has been 2 FTFeeds last range trip after about 300 rounds. I think the tight LWD barrel was just getting too dirty. The frame has about 7,000 .45ACP rounds on it as well.
Got my G20SF in Janary of this year and have somewhere around 5,000 rounds thru it. All but the first 150 rounds were reloads.
First time at the range today and put 150 rounds through it. Love it!
That's just like me. My first 170 rounds were factory, then all reloads. Actually, I did buy a few more boxes of factory stuff, but that was about 300-400 rounds total, and all in the first thousand. I still have all of the brass from those factory rounds. In fact, if you want to know how hard I use my brass, get this. I have about 300 factory pieces of brass, and 500 pieces of Starline nickel. THAT'S IT, and that's all I've EVER had. So, 800-900 pieces of brass (ruined some) has lasted me over 10,000 rounds. Given that I just loaded the last 100 new pieces for the first time, you can see how hard I use each piece. I think those original 170 pieces have about 16 loadings on them. They won't hold any bullet lighter than 180gr, but are fine with 180-200gr bullets. I'm about to buy a couple of thousand pieces, then use all of my current brass for SHTF stockpiling.
165 as of today out of new 20SF. All hand loads. Love it! 8.2 longshot with 200gr XTP. Night sites from glockmeisters BF sale should be here this week. Nothing like a new glock in the stable!
gen1 G20 around 5000, gen3 G20 5000, gen2? G29 1000, gen3 G29 around 3 or4000. No problems with any of them.
about 500 through my G20 and about 250 through my G29 (both gen 3 with night sights).
most of my 10mm shooting hs been done with my CDE.
Gen 2 G20 w/ around 3500. Runs perfect!
Approx. 2000, mostly through aftermarket IGB barrel, except first 50 were Remington UMC 180 gr, then all my own loads.
Still have few hundreds UMCs I am trying to sell but 10mm auto is very rare in here.
Ah yes, G20 runs perfect, still my favorite "the last to sell" gun.
Got mine last wednesday, have about 100 rounds through it so far, been working on loads, only making a few at a time until I settle on one accurate hunting load. Right now evaluating g 180 HP XTP and 10.7 blue dot, fairly accurate going to try same only with longshot and maybe AA 7 or 9. Looking for a bit less bullet drop (little more velocity, less time to targe, less drop) out to 50 yards and an increase in accuracy. The blue dot load has a nice group at 25 but would like to extend the range somewhat.
I'm still going through different type of rounds for my G20 until I decide to keep the ones I like for SD. Right now I'm waiting on another 500rd I'll be picking up this week, and thinking about trying out some 165gr. Underwood ammo.
I'd had my G20/SF ~3 months and put ~1k rnds down the pipe.
about 1k in g20 and 500 in g29, i have about 1500 loaded for when i get time to go out again
