Gun Leather, Kydex, IWB, OWB?
I use a highnoon skingaurd OWB and an M-tac IWB. Never had a problem. I use OWB carry method most of the time because its the most comfortable. and I wear jeans and a tee shirt al summer and have never been discovered.
Blade Tech loop kydex. OWB.
Sidearmor IWB (kydex) with 20 degree belt loops.
I have an old leather IWB that I use. Doesn't have a brand name. Makes it a very low rider.
This is what I use for my recently acquired G21SF which will assume primary carry duty from my old G21. I also have one of these for my G30 which I occasionally carry. I absolutely love this holster. It cannot be beat for fit, workmanship, comfort or accessibility while in your vehicle(or otherwise). With a good belt, which you should be using anyway, it pulls in tight to your body and doesn't print badly under a loose fitting T-shirt-
Edited to add, they're fixin' to go up on their prices again soon so...
This is an excellent deal for a truly excellent holster. No I don't own stock in the company, just a very satisfied customer-
G21SF on Comp Tac Infidel with belt loops at 5:30. Pattern shirt untucked.
It's the only way I can get the butt from printing.
Yesterday I carried like that with a polo shirt on only.... Nobody noticed (or didn't tell me..)
The 21 is big so you definitely remember that you are carrying. Just be careful how you move and don't let the wind outline the gun...
Not a G21SF but a standard G21 in a Miami Classic shoulder rig.
Now that the weather allows an open jean shirt or jacket, I am using an Uncle Mike's Law Enforcement kydex paddle holster, adjsted to FBI cant, worn at 3:30.
Not an SF but 3rd gen 21. HBE Leatherworks Com III Bull hide w/shark trim. Comfortable and concealable with the right clothing.
G21 with Kramer horsehide #2 IWB with a spare mag.
Galco concealable belt holster for G21 and a Front Line molded nylon IWB.(made for G19, but 21SF fits perfect)
I carry my 21SF in a Comp-Tac CTAC IWB and have no complaints so far.
G20/21 in a Galco half harness shoulder rig. Almost 100% concealable, even with real thin unbuttoned shirt on outside. I carry all my semis in these, and will never go back to a belt holster again. I have vertually NO print anywhere at all, and comfort is 100% Ease of draw with much practice, is just a split second less than my hip rig. Not enough to write home about at all, and it make up for it all in the comfort and conceaibility dept.
Edited to add.... It is not a SF, I don't like the SF ambi mag release, so i stick with the original 21.
original 21 in a Crossbreed supertuck, comfy as hell.
Desantis 3-slot Leather holster w/safety snap. For IDPA and Concealed Carry as well I also use a Bladetech w/stingray belt loop.
Im carrying CCW now with my new Kholster holster...WOW is the most confortable IWB holster Ive ever tried..Ive been carrying it for the last week and still dont believe how confortable it is.I was in the process of buying a Crossbreed until I bumped into http://www.kholster.com/ when I saw their add and spoke to Jimmi the owner I decided to give them a try. Its a new company not bad for $33.50 delivered x-mas special, the holster is very adjustable my G21 litterly disapear on my waistband no printing at all with just a t shirt and jeans on extremely confortable I highly recomend.
I didn't buy my 21SF to conceal, but I did, as fate would have it, pick up a COMTAC CTAC for it.
I have a few different holsters that I use on the guns I do carry, and CTAC is certainly one I would recommend. (along with their MTAC, and a Crossbreed supertuck)
I HAVE carried the 21sf a few times just to see how it was... And I COULD carry it daily, but it is not anywhere near as comfortable (IMHO) as the (much thinner) 1911.
