At least 26 years, if the murderer is a cop. What is most disturbing is that they didn't want to investigate one of their own, so they called it a "Cold Case," even though the victim's family told police this maniac was stalking & threatening the victim for months.

And, it was all over a man who broke up with the cop/murderer & married the victim.

I hate to ruin your hate parade but there are plenty of cold cases that have been solved that took longer that didn't involve police.

Looking for the conspiracy but all I see is good police work.

They had no evidence linking any one to the scene. They continued working the case for over two decades which allowed them to retest evidence when new DNA technology was available which linked a suspect to the scene.

Murders involving cops don't get solved just because of one reason:

YOU DONT TALK TO THE POLICE

So how can you get a confession if you don't talk to them? :whistling:
