How do you lawfully carry concealed an M4?

Discussion in 'Band of Glockers' started by Evan N. Payawal, Aug 17, 2009.

  1. Since in theory, Philippines National Police allows concealed carry for M4s for qualified civilians, how do you lawfully "conceal carry " one?

If you carried it in a big duffel bag, maybe..How about if you carry it an a rifle bag, is that concealed? Everyone who sees it will assume it's a rifle, so somebody might report you as "suspicious person with FA."

Or mob style maybe...in a guitar case... :)

Maybe under a trenchcoat, like in The Matrix.

I have seen some use folding chair bags. What would look less conspicuous in a mass of people fleeing an area on foot than a chair bag slug across you shoulder with your suitcase on foot??? :wow:

That would be very concealed, as well.
I stumbled on Sneaky Bags. They look pretty good, like hiking/camping packs.

Whether carrying an M4 or an AK, this bag looks pretty slick!

questionable ata yung carrying an m4 kasi as far as i know, bawal ang mahahaba within metropolitan areas. i know of/heard a few city by-laws(ordinance) na bawal talaga magbitbit ng mahaba kahit na me ptc within the metro area.....

correct me if im'm wrong po....

  14. Thank you all for your comments. I asked around this past week (including with some FED contacts) and it seems indeed that one may run into problems CARRYING a hi-powered FA, EVEN IF it is licensed, with a PTC, and effectively concealed. The best way is to just keep in your car, concealed. For the information of everyone. Stay safe..and legal!

If I may ask, is .45 caliber considered Hi-Power FA?

    .45cal handgun (1911, G-21, USP45 etc) - No

    .45cal SMG (M1A1, M3A1, UMP45 etc) - Yes

Which is really dumb coz all pistol calibers are low-powered anyway.
