How do you find a certified Glock armorer

    I spoke to an armorer at the PD in the town that I work in,he said they would never because of the liability issue. I dont think any PD would because of that. IMO.

    Youtube will teach you just about anything about Glocks, and there is a lot of info to be gained from this forum also.

    Well stated. I can't understand why attendees of the Armorer's Course haven't banded together to press for this. It would be extremely simple to implement and armorers could opt in/out at the time of the course. Listings would automatically drop off 3 years from the date of certification.

    It is as if Glock doesn't really think this internet thing will really catch on.

    That's how I learned to detail strip.I have the 2004 edition.Probably time to update.:supergrin:

    I have a 6-y.o. nephew who's good with snapping Legos together. I think that basically qualifies him for 95% of Glock work.

    I don't think I'd take it that far. The pistol range I go to has two Glock "armorers" and after having my G30SF for a week, one decided it was an extractor problem and either replaced it or did some filing on it. There's more to being a Glock armorer than an 8 hours course. A seasoned vet is a better bet.
