Anyone give me an executive summary? I have a new MacBook Pro running whatever the latest OSX. I want to access resources on my Server 2003 AD.

Sorry, this is my first Apple adventure. I thought I was going to have a scene at the Apple Store at the mall. I swear those guys make Scientologists look like normal people.

Are we talking file shares or what?

You can access shares by going to "Go"->Connect to Server->smb://address. It will prompt for domain/username/password.

You should also look into the Directory Utility in the Utilities folder. More info here: http://www.peachpit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=1246089
