My ex-wife and children bought me a 40gb iPod Photo for my 40th birthday last week. I'm a Mac head and it was something I've wanted but wouldn't have ever spent the beans on. Since, I've imported my whole cd collection to the G5 and the iPod. All, repeat All, my music at my fingertips. How cool!

Not bad for an ex wife. My older brother, divorced too, said his ex wouldn't piss up his arse if his guts were on fire.

I have a 60 GB iPod Photo with over 14,000 songs on it. I don't use the photo functionality - I wanted the extra storage space. I love this thing! Best gadget, ever.

How can you fit over 14,000 songs, i know supposedly it can hold 15,000. but, apple also said that my 20 gig could hold 5,000, but it maxed out at 4300

It's all about encoding format, bitrate and song length. And, yeah, I love my 20GB iPod. I'm just stuck trying to figure out any songs that I want beyond the 5500 that I already have. You must have a pretty diverse taste in music for 14000+ songs.

    I'm up to just over 3500 on my 40GB and that's everything I own (and a few I don't) I got 23GB left.
