I was checking out Academy Sports yesterday during my break, and I came across Hornady .223 55 grain BT ammo which had "Training" on the label. Bought a box thinking I like Hornady in general and I've never tried their TAP line for training, but when I opened it up it was Brass instead of polymer coated. Needless to say, I was impressed. Looked like nice ammo. Would it be a good idea to use this for SHTF ammo or storage ammo or light hunting ammo as well? It seems kinda fancy just for training fodder. What in Hornadys book makes this "training" ammo? Is it not as accurate? Light brass cases? Lower velocity? Wanna kill these ads? We can help!
