How about an apparatus show case

Discussion in 'Firefighter/EMS Talk' started by KY Moose, Oct 20, 2004.

  1. Let's see the apparatus you work off of, or is in you departments invatory.

Since I'm not currently serving on a department, I'll show you what I used to opperate from.

Sorry, couldn't get the image to post

    1992 Pierce Dash.
    1500 GPM pump
    500 Gallon tank

It was set up for residential and highrise firefighting. We had 600 feet of 5 inch supply line and around 800 feet of 3 inch. It also had two 1 3/4 inch preconnected lines, and two preconnected 2 1/2 inch lines.

    1995 Sutphen
    1500 GPM pump
    1000 Gallon tank

This was our rescue pumper when I was serving there. In addition to normal structual firefighting equipment, we also carried Amkus cutters, spreders, rams, airbags, cribbing, BLS equipment, stokes basket, and high and low angle rope equipment.

This engine had 2 1 3/4 inch preconncted lines, two 2 1/2 preconnected lines, as well as 5 inch and 3 inch supply lines. Since we opperated in rural areas, we also had 6 inch hard suction lines to draft from portable drop tanks.

As already shown - tripod will not allow "remote hosting" of images, so until I can get my entire web site moved, I'm afraid you'll have to visit n2dfire.tripod.com/stationbio.html

    Sorry for the inconvenience
