Not getting my hopes up here. Even if they do, I don't see much chance in Mr Holder leaving his job over this.

I only ask why the charge is contempt and not high treason.

"The Justice Department later retracted the denial."

What a eloquent way to say, "The ****ers lied to congress in writing".

    No lapdog media my ass.

the black panther voting incident - condoning voter intimidation. should have earned contempt.

this one certainly rises to it.

The grapevine has it that this isn't as important as the intelligence leaks, so a deal has already been made. It will go quietly away.

Sick of the "deals". They work for me. I don't want a deal.

    I was afraid of that.

They'll drop the Fast and Furious investigation in return for a promise of full cooperation in the intelligence leaks, which are seen as a bigger chunk of red meat.

That cooperation will never come, and investigators will be met with more stalling and interference by Eric Holder.

A shoot on sight vote would be more appealing.

Same here. I give the chances the Republican put Holder to the fire about the same as when they could have done so to Slick. Basically not a chance in hell they do.
