I have my email all screwed up. By default it's Outlook which I never use. I tried changing it but just ended doing something wrong, it's now set to Mozilla which doesn't do anything. I figure I can change it back, but a better question is how the heck do I change my mailto setting to hotmail?

You can't. Hotmail is a service, not a piece of software.

The default setting in the options is for a piece of software, not an online service.

I think Windows 7 has something called Live Mail which is a piece of software you can download, and then set that as your default mailto software. Don't quote me because I don't use the Live Mail software, only hotmail.

You can but you have to download and install Windows Live Mail first ...

    http://download.live.com/wlmail

... then you can configure Hotmail as your default e-mail client.
