Just got in from checking these in my G33. Average of 5 rounds was 1312 FPS. Not too bad from the short barrel and not the hottest load available. I'll try to post a pick tomorrow but they look just like you'd expect from the 124 XTP fired into milk jugs of wet pack. First round chronied at 1308 fps, split the first jug wide open and lodged at the back of the 3rd jug, petals folded back to the base, caliber and a half expansion. The second shot chronied at 1318 fps, burst the first jug sending wetpack flying. The bullet passed through 3 jugs of wetpack and lodged in the 4th jug of plain water. The bullet looks exactly like the first, I've never had an XTP in the calibers I've tested and used that failed to perform as designed. I can't wait to get set up to load and push this bullet to it's potential from the little G33.

AND I'll add, I still don't get the people that think the 357sig has such punishing recoil. My wife thinks it's a lot more fun than her Kel-Tec .380.

i just bought a 32 barrel and took it to the range twice with remingtons and gold dots. from what i have read here i was expecting a lot more blast and recoil. the blast was like a 155grn .40 cal and i thought the recoil was milder. one other thing was my groups were half the size:dunno:.
i took it the second time, the same.

My first trip to the range, my 32 beat the snot out of my arm after about 75 rounds. Every trip thereafter was fine, though. I finally chalked up to my carpal tunnel and nerve damage - guess I was having a bad day with it the first time I shot it.

I just went back to run the same test with 4 layers of cloth T shirt in front of the jugs. The result was 1294 fps, penetration into the middle of the 4th jug. Recovered weight was 109.6 gr.

I checked the expanded diameter on these also. The bullet fired through 4 layers of T-shirt measured .537 at it's widest and .532 at the smallest point. The bullet fired into bares jugs measured .535 at it's widest and .532 at it's smallest point also.
